Unemployment Rate Drops for the First Time in a Year

CNN reported today on the unemployment numbers for July, and they show encouraging signs of improvement.  The Labor Department’s report on the U.S. job market shows that this month, the country experienced a net loss of 247,000 jobs.  That’s the smallest job loss since August of 2008.  The unemployment rate fell from 9.5% to 9.4%.  [...]
